According to the latest survey, most German managers are willing to give employees more flexibility, and 77% of the executives who have been investigated have stated that they allow employees to work anywhere as long as they complete their daily work. Among those executives with opposition, one -third of the people are concerned about the lack of control over employees.
The survey also shows that employees hope that the workplace has greater flexibility. Almost half of all office workers who were investigated said that they wanted to work for a period of time in resort. Only 13% received such approval and used this opportunity. However, many people also quietly used the opportunity of remote work: 68% of the respondents had already worked at the vacation location and said they would do it again, but only 15% of the respondents were authorized.
